Exhibitions: A Puzzle with Changing Pieces

The exhibition industry is moving through a period of considerable change. Although the key exhibition stakeholders - organisers, venues, contractors, exhibitors and visitors – remain the same; the pieces of the puzzle that come together to form any successful exhibition are changing.

In Bangalore, we will be examining: innovative venue strategies, the importance of tackling the health & safety issue, the changing look and feel of exhibitions, marketing from the perspective of an exhibitor and much, much more!

Venue Quality – An Essential Basis for the Trade Fair and Conference Business

Over the last decade much of the focus of show organizers was laid on the “virtual world”, i.e. internet, social media, mobile apps etc. However, the “physical world” (i.e. the venue) still is an essential foundation of our business and it is in the interest of all stakeholders in our industry to secure the highest possible venue quality to serve our clients in the best possible manner. Jochen will share his views on the challenges and issues facing venue operators as well as organizers today and what they will need to do going forward in order to operate safely, efficiently and profitably. He will also explain the venue rating system which has been developed by jwc over the last few years. Based on jwc’s extensive knowledge and deep experience in the planning, construction and efficient operation of exhibition venues.
